My name is Deana Terrill founder of DreamSpirit Insights and Wellness.
Born in Indiana, youngest of 4 children.
I am Native Christian believing in God / Creator, Jesus Christ, and the Great Spirit.
Youngest child of 4 , I always felt close to an Ultimate Being, God, that my Mom sang of as she cleaned our little log cabin in Hog Hollow. Childhood had it's struggles, pain growing up in an alcoholic, and challenging, fearful life things happened no child should endure and my beliefs changed, shifted, blocks occurred, yet I always knew and believed in 'more.' I have always had gifts of Spirit, it was weather I used them or not.
Searching through many avenues my journey to self continued through relationships, medications, self help authors, prayers that never seemed answered. Until one spring in Northern Indiana I was told I had abnormal cells in a yearly pap. Scared I had a second opinion, it was true and had grown extensively in the short 7 weeks since last tested. I was told at 34 yrs old, I had Cervical, Uterine Cancer, and it was spreading fast. Well what a ride, because by the time I was tested, probed, biopsied more and surgery was set, I was considered a Stage 4, so I opted for 2 experimental surgeries, and Chemo. During this time I'm looking for peace, and turned to God, My Creator. And begin a journey within. I was also taping a PBS Special " John Bradshaw's " Healing the Child Within." So I was going through the shadows of my life, and learning to understand and care for who I am.
One night in 1993 I received a call long distance from my mother that lived a good 2 hours away, she had been contacted by someone she thought I should meet. She explained this woman had bought the house I was raised in, and she has searched for almost 2 years to find the family that had lived in the house before her. My Mom said; this is right up your alley, and goes with what your doing. Can you set up a visit soon? So, I adjusted our schedules for July 6th weekend for this visit.
On July 6th we drove down the usual 2 hours uncertain what this was about, but looking forward to a nice visit. Upon arriving at Mom's we said Hello's, Hugs, and enjoyed our time with nothing of detail about this woman, and why such secrecy.
The next morning we enjoyed talks over coffee, then it was time to go and head towards the east side of town, out past Kmart, toward Nashville. As we rode my mind went as it did years before. Go till you see " Bargain Barn" go two blocks on right. Be careful you'll miss that drive, it's tricky and dangerous. We pulled down the drive and faint visions of past days flew past me. It was such an experience, this house I thought in my mind was so big, was actually very small, quaint, historic, but very small for a family.
So much happened there, life changes happened there, heartache had been there, joys, laughter, songs, stones, crystals, dancing, you name it happened. My Mom was told to bring me to the back.
The door was opened by the sweetest blessing yet. My Star, that became a mentor, a friend, sister, family. And will always hold a place in my heart. She invited me in, offered us tea, incense, candles were burning. We shared a bit, but my senses were taking me elsewhere. I asked it I could look around the place of my childhood, she smilingly said yes... As I went through the kitchen, and back to the hall, I was pulled by such an unseen force to the spot I always, always hid, cried, prayed and felt comfort.

I stood before my secret place so drawn by peace. I looked around and though others were there for a moment, maybe two, or three, I saw no one. I turned around to sit myself down, as I did I felt myself becoming whole, enveloping myself, sitting into myself, becoming one with a part of me I had lost. Tears flowed from all of us. My Dear Friend, said she had something for me, that was behind me under a purple handmade little throw, I pulled it back and there sat a "Moses Basket" with things for the lost child.
Little toys had been collected, things no one could no about that had been broken long ago. A china tea set, teddy bear, baby doll, leaf press, crystals, bells, bubbles and much more. A basket that had been filled with Love for the 2 years searching for the child that had filled that house. Could now be One, that little lost girl was found, that little girl that had broken heart, and broken toys now had a basket of toys and all she ever needed.
This experience and visit changed ALL of our lives!
Our family experienced things we had pondered, but never knew were really possible, and from that day on my life and path have been changed.
The gifting Soul Retrieval I experienced touched my life drastically. Eventually I no longer needed medications for PTSD, panic disorder, pain, fatigue.
Soon with guidance as needed I integrated and learned how to self parent, nurture, and grow into an Inner Peace, Love, Light within.
Being blessed by gifts of Spirit, and actively walking the Red Road of my heritage, being a hollow bone for Creator, Spirit to work through. I will walk with you and assist you in releasing old patterns, baggage that creates cellular memory and pain in your body.
This work and journey is dear to my heart having experienced my own self loss, being a damaged soul, being bound by learned thought processes, abusive situations, relationships.
Through knowing there is "More" I opened myself to healing and a life path.
I was released from the past that bound me, health issues disappeared and a new day dawned.
Being raised with native influence by my parents, I have always experienced spiritual sight and Spirit.
Certified in Acupressure, Reflexology, La Ho Chi, Reiki Master, Teacher. Order of LW, Aromatherapist.
Trained Addiction's Therapist, CADAC/DADAC I, II, III specializing in PTSD, Trauma issues.
Certified QMA. Member of Eastern Cherokee Registry, naming ceremony in 96, Ordained Minister.
Have locally, and actively worked in helping others since 1982 with going on 30 years of working with others.
